Kansas Connect and Learn Initiative

Kansas Connect and Learn Initiative

In 2016, the Kansas State Board of Education voted to launch the Kansas Connect & Learn Initiative with the nonprofit organization EducationSuperHighway, Kansas Department of Administration and Gov. Sam Brownback’s office to develop and implement a statewide plan to upgrade every school district to affordable, high-speed broadband.

EducationSuperHighway's team of network and procurement experts will provide school districts at no cost the resources and time needed to upgrade their broadband networks to scalable, cost-effective infrastructure and high-speed bandwidth.

Compare your school district to others on Compare & Connect K-12. This free online tool will help you get the most bandwidth for your budget by easily comparing your school district’s broadband deals to those of school districts across the state and country.

With the 2021 E-rate filing window currently open, the tool’s powerful features will make it even easier for you to view broadband services and bandwidth information for school districts in your region. Use Compare & Connect K-12 to:

  • Find out what other districts are buying to support digital learning
  • Compare broadband options in your state
  • See what service providers are offering to nearby districts
  • View a summary of your 2020 E-rate filing
